What we offer
Melkbos Kids Academy offers a well-rounded educational space for children. We are a bilingual, Christian based school that offers a loving, safe, happy, and creative environment.
Our school is open from 7am to 6pm daily. Our formal school hours are from 08.30am to 12:30pm, and aftercare is offered from 12:30pm to 6pm. Grade R starts at 8:00am.
Our Classes
Seashells/Skulpies
Class size: 10 babies
Staff: One teacher and three assistants.
The class will be divided into two age-appropriate groups depending on the milestones reached.
Starfish/See sterretjies
Class size: 15 children
Staff: One teacher and one assistant
Little fish/Vissies
Class size: 20 children
Staff: One teacher and one assistant
Penguins/Pikkewyne
Class size: 20 children
Staff: One teacher and one assistant
Sea horses/
Seeperdjies
Class size: 20 children
Staff: One teacher and one assistant
Grade R: Dolphins/Dolfyntjies
Class size: 25 children
Staff: One teacher and one assistant
Extra activities included in school fees: Robotics & coding and Cape Kinetics
Playground
Our school offers a clean and modern environment. Our playground has been specifically designed to develop new skills and enhance and challenge existing ones. Areas that we focus on include fine and gross motor skills, rhythm, movement, and perceptual development. The playground and playing times are also divided amongst the different age groups.

Security
The safety and security of our children is of the highest priority at Melkbos Kids Academy. To ensure your child’s safety we have the following security measures in place:
- Security cameras in both classrooms & playgrounds
- One gate for both entering and exiting the school
- Full biometric access control and visitor management
- Emergency Response Team
Extramural activities
At Melkbos Kids Academy we have a variety of extramural activities that are offered before or after school hours.
